Tip: Hide multiple Facebook applications from your news feed in seconds

Yeah. I’m sure most of you who reached this post, knows what I’m talking about. You have a few hundreds of friends who knows good Facebook maners. But… There’s also your mom and dad, sister, brother or even your grandparents! They just installed the new popular, upcoming application and BAM! You just got hit by 384 kisses, 202 hugs and got kidnapped in Mob Wars.

But we don’t want kisses, hugs, or know when your parents will be getting laid. And it’s a new application every day! So here’s a guide on how to block the applications quick and easy.

When logged in, you should see your news feed. On your left hand, you’ll see a filter box.

  • Click the “More” link.

News feed selector

The list will unfold, and reveal lot’s of annoying applications hidden in there.

  • Click an unwanted application.

New feed selector

  • When you mouseover the news item, a “Hide” button will appear.
    Go ahead, click it!

Crappy application

  • Hell yeah, success!
The application will no longer annoy you, nor your news feed!

Crappy applications removed

Now just repeat these steps for every application. The advantage of this method is, you get a quick overview of the applications.

Hope this helped you!
